Shop the Look: Endoume Studio

Our recent project in Endoume transformed a dated Marseille studio into a high-end Airbnb. Because the apartment was destined for short term rentals and high turn around, we had to focus on choosing materials that were durable, functional, and moderately priced. With careful planning and a keen eye for detail, we were able to create a stunning space without breaking the bank.

Here’s a breakdown of the furniture and materials we chose to help us achieve this goal.

For the kitchen and living room closets, we opted for a ready-built model from Leroy Merlin’s Malmo collection. It’s a durable choice that instantly elevated the space’s sophistication thanks to its wooden veneers. To add that extra touch of elegance, we incorporated marble knobs from H&M Home.

The breakfast nook was a focal point with its statement tiled accent wall. We chose to use sky blue and white tiles from As Du Carreaux, evoking the Mediterranean Sea and bringing a fun and playful character to the space. A bohemian wall sconce from Honoré Déco and a seashell chandelier from Amazon completed the seaside vibe, creating a cohesive and inviting atmosphere.

In the living room, we made a statement with a couch from Westwing, who’s resistant material was a big selling point. A wave-like buffet from La Redoute added a unique touch, while cushions from H&M Home brought in pops of color and texture.

For the bedroom, we wanted to stay true to Marseille’s iconic “tomette” floors while adding a modern twist. We achieved this with WOW Hexa Cottage sand tiles, that we found at a local Marseille tile shop, Maison Rosana. Bedside shelves from H&M Home provided both functionality and style.

We wanted to carry over the stripes from the accent wall into the bathroom using Zellige effect tiles from Leroy Merlin in a sea foam green and white, while brass hooks from Ferm Living added a touch of modern elegance.

By carefully selecting materials, furniture, and design details, we've created a special space that feels high-end without spending a fortune.
